This article will break down all the known future content planned for Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2.

Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 roadmap

Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 launched with a full campaign and multiplayer modes. However, the game noticeably lacks support for ultrawide monitors and private PVE lobbies. Thankfully, the publisher announced that it will add these features in September, the same month the game releases via a free update that will also add the Battle Barge Sparring Arena. In the same month, Season Pass owners will also get access to the Ultramarines Cosmetic Pack.

Additionally, if you have preordered the game, you will receive the Macragge’s Chosen DLC, which includes new looks for the Chainsword and Bolt Rifle, as well as a unique right Pauldron. The cosmetic item can be unlocked after completing the “Skyfire” campaign mission.

The releases in September will serve as Season One content, with more to come seasonally throughout 2024 and 2025. Season Two will include several new additions, including new PVE missions, the new Lethal Difficulty mode, an all-new enemy type, and the new Neo-Volkite Pistol. Season Pass owners will also get more cosmetics based on different Space Marine Chapters. Season Two also features the Dark Angels chapter and will include a Champion, Cosmetic, and Weapon skin pack.

Season Three will kick off the new 2025 content drops. It will include a new PVE mission, a new PVP game mode, a new PVP arena, a brand new enemy, new PVE Prestige ranks, and an expansion for the Battle Barge. Season Pass owners will also get new cosmetics for two different unannounced chapters. However, one chapter will receive a Champion, Cosmetic, and weapon skin pack, while another will only receive a Champion pack.

Season Four will end 2025’s content releases with a new gameplay mode called Horde mode, another new enemy, and a brand new weapon. Like with Season Three, Season Pass owners will get new cosmetics for two different unannounced chapters. However, one chapter will receive a Champion, Cosmetic, and weapon skin pack, while another will only receive a Champion pack.

All season updates for Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 and all upcoming content will be free for every player, regardless of the game editions they purchased. However, the Season Pass content, all cosmetic in nature, will be behind a paywall. Specific details about the upcoming modes, missions, enemy types, and more will be revealed closer to each season’s official launch date.
