Stellar Crown has arrived for the Pokémon Trading Card Game and is set to add a new mechanic in the form of Stellar Tera-type cards. These cards, among the new Tarapogos ex, are already being called some of the strongest new decks of the format—and like with most new strong cards, prices for some of the cards are a bit mad.
Like with most sets, most of the expensive cards in the set are the secret Special Illustration Rares of the set, with early pricing already outdoing Shrouded Fables. It’s to be expected that Worlds 2024 is over, and a new season is upon us, so trainers are eager to find the next best thing to try and lock in a Worlds spot in 2025.
If you aren’t a competitor, though, or are just curious to see if the card you pulled might be worth a bit of money, here are some of the most expensive cards in Pokémon TCG Stellar Crown you can find. Remember, though, that these prices can and will fluctuate as the set is out for a long, so be sure to check back for updated prices from time to time.

Most of the big cards this time will be based around Terapagos, with the beautiful Illustration Rare leading the pack at over $100. It’s so sought after that the basic card barely missed out on the top ten and is currently selling for $20 a pop.
Outside of things like Aero Zero Underdepths, the usual suspects also appear in the most expensive list, with the trainer Illustration Rare Briar also placing highly and Lacey. Lacey is likely the most useful card in the set, allowing you to reset your hand and draw four or eight cards if your opponent has eight or fewer prize cards left. Briar, however, feels like it’s a collector’s item at best.
Weirdly enough, no AE Spec cards make the list either. But I guess that is to be expected, considering how bad they all are.
Not to mention most of the cards on the list are stunning to look at. If it were me, I would love to keep them, but considering the early prices, if I somehow manage to pull any of these, I might have to cash in as I did with my Greninja ex Illustration Rare card I pulled in my Twilight Masquerade box.
