Blizzard’s $273,000 Asia-Pacific Overwatch tournament series begins this weekend—and it’s just been announced that the league will have an English broadcast.

Held in Blizzard’s new esports arena in Taipei, Tawain, the Overwatch Pacific Championship pits eight teams from Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Australia against each other in a 13-week tournament series. And it’s got a prize pool larger than South Korea’s premier Overwatch tournament series, sitting at $273,000 total.

Australian esports organization Full Circle Esports will take care of the English broadcast.

Teams participating in the Overwatch Pacific Championship include Taiwanese teams ahq Esports Club, Flash Wolves, and Machi Esports; Japanese teams DeToNator GOLD and SunSister; Thai team FireBall; Hong Kong–based roster Hong Kong Attitude; and Australian lineup Blank Esports.

International Overwatch fans are likely unfamiliar with teams from the Asia-Pacific region, but an English broadcast should help change that. Esports fans, however, should recognize the likes of Flash Wolves and ahq Esports, both of which have seen success in League of Legends.

Thai team FireBall includes some familiar faces for those who watched the Overwatch World Cup. Many of the players competed as part of the Thailand national team during Blizzard’s international Overwatch tournament alongside Team EnVyUs’ Pongphop “Mickie” Rattanasangchod.

Blank Esports, formerly known as Fusion Girls, are widely considered the best Overwatch team in Australia.

Tournament play begins April 8 at 4pm AEST (April 8 at 2am EST).
