Two open qualifiers will be held in March, one on March 12 and the other on March 18, which will qualify four teams for the Overwatch March Monthly final on March 19. A $1,000 AUD prize pool is up for grabs in the monthly tournament, but more importantly, the top two teams will qualify for the offline final in May.

Tournament scheduling for April follows a similar schedule, with the first Overwatch tournament held on April 2 and the second on April 9. April’s monthly final will take place April 23, offering a $1,000 AUD prize pool and two qualifying spots in the May offline final.

The Overwatch ESL Australia and New Zealand Championship Final event will offer a $10,000 prize pool. Dates for the event have yet to be released, though ESL expects to announce more information “shortly.”

Registration for both of April’s monthly events is open now on the ESL Gaming website.

A lesser known region in the competitive Overwatch scene, ESL’s Australia and New Zealand tournament will highlight teams fans would otherwise not likely see.
