Blizzard gives Overwatch 2’s newest hero their most impressive legendary skin yet

It's a cosmetic worth dying for...

Ramattra was added to Overwatch 2 in December with the start of season two, and as the newest hero in the game, he hasn’t had much time for Blizzard to release a wide range of skin options for him.

Some of the game’s original favorites like Reinhardt, Mercy, Genji, and others have enough Legendary skin options that people could use a different skin every day for more than a week without repeating any.

However, Ramattra has been more limited with just four Legendary skins, including one that rotated in the in-game store and another that was part of a battle pass.

Today, the character’s latest Legendary skin was added to the game’s store, and it could be the most impressive yet. The new Necromancer Ramattra skin features bones and glowing green accents abound to give the hero a spooky vibe that is perfectly in line with what players want from the intimidating omnic tank.

The look and feel of the skin gives off a lot of World of Warcraft vibes from the Legion expansion, and he even looks like he could just be a Warlock NPC in WoW as well. In his transformed state, Ramattra’s armor includes some silver skulls and green-flame candles that add another level of flare to the aesthetic.

Surely some players will prefer Ramattra’s Poseidon skin, which was in a previous battle pass, and the Biohazard skin that has previously been in the Overwatch 2 in-game shop has its own appeal. But as far as taking Ramattra’s intimidating vibes and amplifying them go, this skin will have your opponents feeling an extra layer of terror whenever you pop your Annihilation ultimate ability and start charging.

This skin was added to the store today, and the store refreshes in a week. At that point, the skin will likely be vaulted for at least a little while.

The current bundle is listed in the shop for 1,900 Overwatch coins.
