Atlanta Reign secured their second 4-0 victory in Saturday’s Overwatch League match against the Paris Eternal, but all eyes fell on Daniel “Dafran” Francesca and Petja “Masaa” Kantanen as the duo pulled off an incredible Zarya-Lúcio combo in the second map of the series.

After capturing the map’s first point, Dafran and Masaa moved to Hollywood’s lifting platform while the rest of the team escorted the payload to the second choke point. With the help of Masaa’s speed boost, Dafran double-jumped off the roof, landing in the middle of the opposing team. Before Eternal could see the attack coming, the Danish player lobbed a Graviton Surge, catching five players with the ultimate.

In a post-match interview, Masaa credited Reddit with the play. “I think we actually saw someone else do it on Reddit first, and we just like thought if we could pull it off in game it’s gonna be so cool, so we just went for it,” Masaa said.

Atlanta then defeated their Parisian opponents in the next two maps of the series to secure their second 4-0 win in the Overwatch League.

Many fans of the Overwatch League regarded Paris as one of the strongest teams in the triple-triple meta. But Atlanta clean-swept Eternal with their innovation and aggressive playstyle, handing the European team their first loss of the season.

The Atlanta-based team sit toward the top of the league’s standings at 3-1. With their hopes of the stage one playoffs held high, Atlanta will now look toward their next match against Los Angeles Gladiators on March 7.
