What About

First one: Bae “Bang” Jun-sik

So, what about Bang?

Considered only by a few as the best Ad Carry/Marksman in the World or even the best korean Ad Carry/Marksman, Bae “Bang” Jun-Sik started to compete at the age of 16 under the tag of Najin Shield.

The Beginning

His first appearance on a competitive tournament was at GIGABYTE StarsWar League where Najin Shield were able to get past through groups but then got crushed by Team WE for 3-0. Still under the tag of Najin Shield, Bang was able to participate on OLYMPUS Champions Winter 2012-2013 (Now the equivalent of the Spring Season of LCK) but Najin failed to get past through the groups, leaving the prodigy with no option left then leave his team mates.

After leaving Najin, Bang joined Xenics Storm. The team qualified for Hot6iX Champions Summer 2013 but, once again, Bang’s team failed to pass the group stage making him leave the team after a few months since he was seeking for more.

Joining SK Telecom T1

In October of 2013, it would begin a new adventure in Bang’s Career: Joining SK Telecom T1 1, as their starting AD Carry.

Two more tournaments, two more failed attempts to perform well. With SK Telecom T1 1 (Renamed to SK Telecom T1 S), Bang competed on PANDORA.TV Champions Winter 2013-2014 and Hot6iX Champions Spring 2014 and didn’t got pass through the groups again, inclusive, losing to SK Telecom T1 K at the group stage while they were on board of their mighty rookie season winning the World Championship later that year.

Surprisingly, Bang didn’t left SK Telecom T1 S after failing with them and this turned out well reaching the 4th place at Hot6iX Champions Summer 2014 after losing 3-2 to KT Rolster A and 3-0 to Samsung White (Season 4 World Champions) on the 3rd place match.

The Turning Point

Due to a change on OGN rules which an organisation couldn’t have more than 2 teams participating on the SBENU Champions League 2015 and with the departure of Piglet’s (Former SK Telecom T1 K Marksman), Bang would join SK Telecom T1 K on December, 2014.

After a disapointing season by SK Telecom T1 K without being able to even qualify for the Season 4 World Championship, Bang was expecting that he could bring a new soul to the team. Playing more of a supportive AD Carry role with champions like Tristana and Sivir, SKT T1 K was able to beat GE Tigers for 3-0 in the grand final of SBENU Champions League 2015 turning up the hopes of one more SK Telecom T1 golden era. This victory granted them a spot into the Mid Season Invitational 2015 held by Riot in Tallahassee, Florida who gathered the top teams from each major region and one Wildcard team.

SK Telecom T1 K were not able to secure the 1st place in this tournament losing to EDward Gaming (EDG) from China on the finals for 3-2 making the community turn into disbelief if Korea was in fact the best region in League of Legends and, more important, if SK Telecom T1 K was really the best team in the world.

Seeking revenge, SK Telecom T1 K showed up really strong for the rest of 2015 winning the 2015 World Championship inclusive with Bang doing an impressive 15.8 KDA throughout this tournament who made him being taken more seriously on what if he could actually be the best AD Carry in the world.

The Present

Bang is still the starting AD Carry for SK Telecom T1 sits at the top of AD carries with a 11.00 KDA at the LCK 2016 Spring on 6 games and an average of 427 GPM (Gold per Minute) being the 2nd highest so far and being not more regarded as a supportive AD Carry but a truly carrier on the SK Telecom team.
