Sources: cNed exploring options from North America and Europe

VALORANT Champions winner Mehmet “cNed” Yağız İpek is exploring his team options internationally and regionally for next year, multiple sources told Upcomer on Dec. 18.  CNed, unlike the rest of his Acend teammates, has yet to re-sign with the organization.  Several teams from North America are interested in cNed’s availability, including 100 Thieves. The team recently released in-game leader and Jett player Nick “nitr0” Cannella and are actively seeking replacements.  Acend may have to begin practice soon without cNed if he does not re-sign with the team.  The player will need to make a deal with an organization soon, however, since the start of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022 will begin in January for EMEA and North America. Since players typically have time off during the festive period, players will usually return to practice at the start of the new year.  Acend were the victors of the most recent international VALORANT event, Champions. Dubbed the largest and most anticipated tournament of the year, Acend beat some of the best teams in the world such as Gambit Esports and Team Liquid.  CNed was one of the best players during the tournament. During the grand final against Gambit Esports, cNed had the joint highest average combat scores of 208 alongside Patryk “starxo” Kopczynski.  Prior to their match against Gambit, Acend had only lost one map during the tournament which was against Brazilian team Vivo Keyd.  Acend is set to compete in the VALORANT Champions Tour next year, with the open qualifiers set to begin in January.  Acend fields the following roster:
