Alec “Slemmy” White has signed with compLexity Gaming as the team’s in-game leader a week into his loan from Selfless Gaming.
CompLexity’s performance following the departure of Michael “Uber” Stapelis fluctuated in the four weeks before Slemmy joining the team. In their week four and five matches in the ESL Pro League, they fielded popular Rank S pugger Jason “jasonR” Ruchelski in their matches against Winterfox and Cloud9. The team went 2-0 against Winterfox and 0-2 against Cloud9. Overall, jasonR did an adequate job as a stand-in for compLexity.
Slemmy, unsurprisingly, is thrilled about the move.
“After having conversations with the players and management I feel that everyone on board has a great desire to improve and work hard,” Slemmy wrote in a statement The team is full of very talented players and I am confident I can help us come together and play good team CS.”
CompLexity’s has fared well with Slemmy at the helm. When they played Selfless Gaming on March 29, the team went 2-0 with close scorelines of 16-10 on Cobblestone and 16-14 on Cache.
CompLexity’s roster now consists of Slemmy, Derek “desi” Branchen, Brad “androidx23” Fodor, Rory “dephh” Jackson, Kia “Surreal” Man, and Matt “Warden” Dickens as Coach.
Slemmy join the rest of the team at the compLexity CS:GO team house in the coming days for their ESL Pro League matches and for the upcoming America’s Minor, an important qualifier for the PGL Major in Krakow, Poland.
