SGDQ is a marathon event, in which players must beat games as quickly as possible to raise money for charity. It brings speedrunners from across the world to a single event that is streamed online. Viewers can make donations for a chance to win prizes and help out Doctors Without Borders.

This year the event is being held in Minneapolis from July 2 to 9 at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center.

NieR: Automata and Titanfall 2 are the newest games to be added to the SGDQ list, with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sadly missing out this year. The schedule for the event is still to be determined, but you can check out the full list of games on the website.

The last event, AGDQ 2017, was held at the Hilton Washington Dulles in Herndon, Virginia from January 8 to 15. It was the first GDQ of the year and passed the $2 million donation mark for the first time in GDQ history..

Will the July event be able to beat it again? Here’s hoping.
