The Chinese LPL team, LGD-Gaming announced on their Weibo that they have parted ways with former world champion Jang “MaRin” Gyeong-Hwan. LGD thanked MaRin for his service throughout the past year. LGD expressed their gratefulness for MaRin’s positive attitude, explaining that he acted like a big brother to many of the other players on the team.

MaRin joined LGD in at the end of 2015, after winning the League of Legends World Championship with SK Telecom T1. MaRin did not have the best performance on LGD throughout the 2016, struggling at different points throughout the season. MaRin’s future destination was not mentioned on LGD’s Weibo post.
