Is Nightingale multiplayer? Devs confirm status

Playing survival games alone can be fun, but it's always better with your friends. Here's what we know about multiplayer in Nightingale.

Sure, playing survival games can be fun by yourself, but you know what’s even more fun? Playing them with your friends. That’s why we have all the information you need on whether Nightingale has multiplayer at launch.

Nightingale is the next big survival game to launch in 2024, but after joining up with their mates and capturing Pokemon-esque creatures in Palworld, it’s no surprise that gamers want to enjoy Nightingale together too.

Thankfully, if you don’t want to spend your time playing the game alone, there’s good news from developers Inflexion Games.

Does Nightingale have multiplayer?

Yes, Nightingale does have multiplayer in early access. This means that you can jump into this Victorian-themed survival world, and team up with your buddies to explore, fight, and acquire resources.

A total of six players can play in a co-op server, so there’s plenty of room for your friends. Even better, loot from boss fights drops individually, so no fighting over who gets what.

On top of that, there is also public multiplayer, which will allow you to team up with strangers who happen to be in the same Realm to explore or fight opponents. This is especially useful if you generally play alone, but need some help to take on tougher opponents. Don’t worry though, as Nightingale does not have PvP, so they won’t be able to turn around and attack you. In theory, however, they can destroy anything you’ve built in that realm, so it could be worth keeping an eye on that.

Nightingale is launching in early access, so it’s possible even more multiplayer features could be added in the future. For now, though, I’m happy enough to know that I won’t have to face the challenges of Nightingale and its many realms alone.
