How to get free cosmetic items in Apex Legends

You need to be subscribed to a paid subscription service, though.

Similar to other battle royale games, Apex Legends is giving away free cosmetic items for you to equip and try out on the battlefield.

Although these items are “free” to Apex players, you still need to be subscribed to a paid subscription service to get them.

PS Plus users on PlayStation 4, for example, can grab a few free cosmetics from the PS Store right now. These include two weapon camos for the Flatline and RE45, character skins for Gibraltar and Bloodhound, and one banner for each of those characters as well.

It’s more pricey for Xbox One users, though, because you need to be a part of the Xbox Live Gold subscription service and be an EA Access subscriber to get your hands on bonus weapon skins, a badge, and 1,000 Apex Coins.

The same can be said for PC users, who need to have EA Access to get a different weapon skin, the same badge as Xbox One users, and 1,000 Apex Coins.

You only have a limited amount of time to get these items, however. So be sure to claim them by logging in, downloading the pack on some devices, and then signing into Apex.
