Here are all the Overwatch 2 maps in the closed beta

Overwatch 2 is getting a closed beta in April with four maps, the new Push gameplay mode and a new hero. Those interested can sign up for the chance to take part in the beta on the official Overwatch site. The closed beta will feature New York, Rome, Monte Carlo and Toronto. Other maps have been confirmed for Overwatch 2, including Rio de Janeiro, Gothenburg and one somewhere within India, but it doesn’t look like they’ll appear in the closed beta.

Overwatch 2 maps coming with the closed beta

The four maps we’ve seen already have confirmed game modes tied to them, although we could see secondary modes in the beta as well. We’ve broken down details for each map below.

New York City

Mode: Hybrid New York has been a map the Overwatch team wanted to develop since launching the first game. This map runs through Grand Central Station and down multiple streets lined with multiple shops and restaurants. Teams will need to escort a fire department vehicle out of a garage and down the street to win.

Rome

Mode: Push Rome is one of the most visually impressive maps of Overwatch 2 to date. It has incredible vistas that run alongside ancient buildings that line the main Push route. The map runs around the Colosseum, over a bridge and through the city streets of Rome. Players can enter many of the buildings use them for cover. Part of the Colosseum route is also curved, making it difficult to pin down enemy groups with snipers.

Toronto

Mode: Push Toronto was one of the first maps introduced alongside Overwatch 2 at BlizzCon in 2019. With nods to the Maple Leafs NHL team, Toronto is a modern winter wonderland complete with a curling court, public transportation stops where the Push bot is stationed and plenty of buildings players can enter.

Monte Carlo

Mode: Escort Set during a lovely night sky, Monte Carlo is full of luxury hotels and casinos that build out the world of Overwatch. The map itself runs through a hotel laced with gold and an F1 track where the escort vehicle is placed. There is no large central structure like the one in Eichenwalde, but the developers say the two maps do feel similar.
