The tournament, which is presented by Caesars Entertainment in association with Ultimate Gaming Championship (UGC), kicks off at the Caesars hotel and casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, from Friday, March 31 through Sunday, April 2.

The top twelve Gears Pro Point teams from around the world, including OpTic Gaming, Team EnVyUs, and eUnited, have been split into four groups of four—with each group holding a vacant spot for the teams that climb out of the open bracket.

Over forty-eight amateur and pro teams from around the world will battle for a share of the $200,000 prize pool. The groups for the Gears Pro Circuit Atlantic City Open are as follows:

Group A

  • OpTic Gaming
  • Enigma6 Group
  • The Gosu Crew
  • Open Bracket Team

Group B

  • Team EnVyUs
  • Ghost Gaming
  • Splyce
  • Open Bracket Team

Group C

  • eUnited
  • Echo Fox
  • Epsilon Esports
  • Open Bracket Team

Group D

  • Team Allegiance
  • Redemption
  • Force
  • Open Bracket Team

While Group D seem to be one of the easier groups heading into Atlantic City, Group B is stacked with two of the top four teams in the world, along with the number one team in Latin America, Splyce.

Three of the top four teams in OpTic Gaming, eUnited, and Ghost Gaming, have made roster changes following the Gears of War Pro Circuit Mexico City Open event in January. Each of those teams will be looking to prove themselves and validate their changes by taking home the title.
