Fnatic Signs Wickd as Top Lane Substitute

Now that the roster lock has taken place, Fnatic welcomes its last substitute to the team.
This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

While no major statement was made about him joining the team, the Riot Games LoL Esports contract database lists Mike “Wickd” Petersen as a player for Fnatic. This information comes just as the roster lock became active on Jan. 5. It is presumed that he has replaced previous top lane substitute Mateusz “Kikis” Szkudlarek, as this player is no longer shown on the contract database as part of the Fnatic roster. Wickd has played for some notable teams in the past, such as CLG Europe and Evil Geniuses, so he has a lot to bring to the team if needed.

It doesn’t seem like Wickd is set to stay very long, however, as his contract is listed to end on Feb. 28, 2017, which means he will only be a substitute for a short period of time. The real question is, how much of an influence can he make in his apparently brief time with Fnatic?
