Grizzbolt is one of the most iconic Pals in Palworld. Whether it’s from the game’s marketing materials, the first boss fight you face, or simply just promotional content online, you’ve definitely seen Grizzbolt, but maybe not in the wild.
Grizzbolt can be tricky to find so adding it to your Pal collection isn’t as simple as happening upon one randomly. Fortunately, there are a few ways you can get Grizzbolt so if you know what you’re doing it shouldn’t take long to acquire this Electric-type boost.
How to catch Grizzbolt in Palworld
Grizzbolt can be found in the bottom Southeast corner of the map on the island called Pal Scantuary No. 1. The Pal roams this island at around level 20 so make sure you’re prepared to face and catch Pals of that strength before setting out.
You’re going to struggle to catch Grizzbolt and for good reason. The Pal is considered rare so its home is now guarded by PIDF soldiers and if they spot you they will hunt you down across the Palworld map until you’ve been dealt with.
If you’re sneaky enough to get around them catching Grizzbolt shouldn’t be too much trouble. Take with you a Ground-type Pal for fighting, a flying Pal with a saddle to get you safely to and from the island, and some Giga Spheres to catch the powerful Electric-type Pal inside.
Should you fail to catch Grizzbolt the good news is you can always fall back on breeding to add one to your Pal collection.
How to breed Grizzbolt in Palworld
If you’re looking to breed Grizzbolt in Palworld then there are only two combinations that can achieve this.
These are the following:
- Mossanda and Rayhound
- Grizzbolt and Grizzbolt
That’s the entire list so you might have a little prep to do before you can start the breeding process. To learn the entire process of what needs to be done and how to do it you can check out our Grizzbolt breeding guide.
All Merchants that sell Grizzbolt in Palworld
From our time in Palworld, it doesn’t appear that any of the Pal Dealers nor the Black Marketeers sell Grizzbolt. However, all of these vendors have rotating stock so it is possible that Grizzbolt could show up at some point, just not in our experience.
We suggest catching or breeding Grizzbolt instead of relying on Merchants due to the fact there is no assured way to know whether they will have the Pal in stock.
