EPICENTER Moscow Groups Revealed

The groups for next week's EPICENTER have been revealed, and they are sure to live up to the epic name.

In possibly the biggest move in esports ownership history, ESPN has reported that the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers has acquired both Dignitas and Apex Gaming.

The groups for next week’s EPICENTER Moscow tournament have been revealed, with the eight teams finding themselves in two groups that, if this were a Major, would be labeled as groups of death. EPICENTER Moscow will offer a $500k prizepool, with a weighty $250k of that going to the victor.

EPICENTER serves as a proving ground for a number of teams in attendance, and will serve as a test for Ninja in Pyjama’s Maikel “Maikelele” Bill as he attends the first of three tournaments as NiP’s fifth. Not only this, but HellRaiser’s have a large hole to fill that was left behind by Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný, and they will want to show they are still a complete and strong team in Moscow, especially surrounded by such tough opponents. Here are how the groups will look come October 17:

Group A

Group B

EPICENTER Moscow promises to be a warzone, with eight of the hottest teams in the world facing each other for the lion’s share of the prize pool. Follow all the action from October 17-23, and stay tuned to GAMURS.com for full coverage of the event.
