The Sidewinder is, simply put, one of the worst overall weapons in Call of Duty MW3. However, if you plan on using the Sidewinder in Zombies, you will need its absolute best set of attachments to avoid getting overwhelmed by an undead horde.
To see the best loadout for the Sidewinder in MW3 Zombies, keep reading my guide below.
Best Sidewinder loadout in MW3 Zombies
- Barrel: Rattleback Deadeye Barrel
- Stock: RB Regal Heavy Stock
- Underbarrel: FTAC MSP-98 Handstop
- Magazine: 30 Round Drum
- Rear Grip: RB Borealis Grip
The Sidewinder is notorious for having a solid amount of recoil control and poor damage range. My loadout aims to rectify both of these shortcomings, as recoil control is massively improved at the cost of mobility. The Rattleback Deadeye Barrel kicks things off, increasing bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil control while the 30 Round Drum gives you the most bullets possible.

The rest of the loadout is designed to boost recoil control drastically. The RB Regal Heavy Stock and RB Borealis Grip increase both recoil control and gun kick control while the FTAC MSP-98 Handstop also boosts recoil control but adds some extra movement speed as well. I opted against an optic to give you more accuracy with the Sidewinder, but you can always replace an attachment for a sight if you prefer.
Best Class Setup for the Sidewinder in Zombies
With your attachments set for the Sidewinder, you can move on to the other class elements you need to complete your Zombies loadout.
Weapon Slot 2
- A close-range weapon (WSP Swarm, TYR, Lockwood 680, etc.)
Equipment
- Lethal: Molotov
- Tactical: Experimental Gas/Cymbal Monkey/LT53 Kazimir
Field Upgrade
- Frenzied Guard
And that does it for the best Sidewinder loadout in Zombies. You might struggle with this weapon, even with its best attachments, but my loadout gives you the best chance to survive in Urzikstan.
