The MCW is currently one of the strongest weapons in Call of Duty MW3 multiplayer, but that has not translated over to Warzone in Season 1. Still, though, the MCW is a solid assault rifle that you can use to great effect if you equip its strongest loadout.
Right now, the long-range meta in Warzone is mostly made up of light machine guns and other rifles, such as the BAS-B or DG-56. However, the meta is still being developed as the community finds the most optimal attachments for the best guns. As such, if you feel you can get something out of the MCW, then you should by all means equip it and try to get some wins in Urzikstan. To have the highest chance of success with the MCW, though, you need to use its best set of attachments.
To see the best loadout for the MCW in Warzone, keep reading my guide below.
Best MCW loadout in Warzone
- Muzzle: VT-7 Spitfire Suppressor
- Barrel: 16.5″ MCW Cyclone Long Barrel
- Optic: Corio Eaglesye 2.5x
- Stock: RB Regal Heavy Stock
- Magazine: 60 Round Drum
This is a fairly different loadout than the one currently being used by the competitive community in MW3, as Warzone needs different attachments. The 16.5″ MCW Cyclone Long Barrel and RB Regal Heavy Stock are the only carryovers, which increase damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control.

The new aspects of the MCW’s loadout feature the VT-7 Spitfire Suppressor, which further boosts damage range and bullet velocity, along with the 60 Round Drum. While you can get away with the 45 Round Mag, the 60 Round Drum ensures you won’t have to reload too often while fighting multiple enemies. Finally, I have the Corio Eagleseye 2.5x optic equipped, which is the current meta pick for long-range weapons.

Moving on from the Gunsmith, you can now set the best equipment, perks, and secondary weapon for your MCW loadout.
