Aatrox might be added to the long list of champion updates

Aatrox could be getting a rework towards the end of the year, after all of the other intended champion updates.

Aatrox is a champion in League of Legends that has not seen a lot of play in recent seasons due to his kit being a bit worthless in the current stages of the meta. When the champion was released, he was played in casual and competitive play for a few months and then dropped off the face of the Earth.

The champion has not been touched for what seems like an eternity, with Riot overlooking the champion for the past few years. However, that might change if Andrei “Meddler” van Roon, Riot’s lead champion designer, has anything to say about it.

On the message boards, Meddler went on to say that, “Aatrox seems like one of the other really likely candidates. It would be much more debatable after that.” Meddler made this statement on a forum post that was discussing the possible updates or buffs to diver champions, following the tank updates. An Aatrox update would come as welcome news to those who want to see the champion return to the spotlight in the future.
