These stats prove Jankos is LEC’s best jungler

Still have doubts?

Despite playing for one of the worst-performing teams in the 2023 LEC Spring Split so far, Janko’s stats prove that he’s still one of the best junglers, if not the best, in the region.

Team Heretics’ jungler is currently the best in his position when it comes to kills per game (5.5), damage percentage per game (16.6 percent), average damage to champions per minute (431), or first blood participation (66.7 percent), according to a League of Legends stat site Games Of Legends. Additionally, Jankos also has the highest gold difference at 15 minutes with 601 and the most solo kills (3). Other than that, he’s second in terms of cs per minute, gold per minute, and kill participation.

Jankos has achieved all of these feats despite the squad struggling in the 2023 LEC Spring Split. The team are 2-4 in the standings, which puts them in a tie for seventh place with Fnatic, MAD Lions, and Excel.

Jankos’ formidable stats were pointed out on League’s subreddit, and a lot of fans shared their thoughts about the jungler’s form. Some of them pointed out that Jankos is still one of Europe’s best players in the role, and he should look for a better team when he gets a chance, or Heretics should rebuild its LEC roster around him.

Other fans underlined that these stats prove that Jankos is nowhere near being called “washed up,” as many other LEC viewers labeled him by the end of last season.

Jankos and Heretics will have to fix their current mistakes quickly if they want to advance to the 2023 LEC Spring Groups. They face Astralis, Vitality, and SK Gaming in the last week of the 2023 LEC Spring Split. All three of these teams are currently higher in the standings than Heretics.
