Multiple sources tell the Daily Dot that Martinez’s former teammate on Fnatic, Paul “sOAZ” Boyer, is currently on trial with Origen. But while at least four people with close knowledge of the team say Boyer has played multiple scrimmages with the team, Boyer himself denies the claim, telling the Daily Dot simply: “noop.”

Either way, it appears his time with Fnatic is close to finished. Boyer hasn’t publicly left the team, but sources close to Fnatic say he will not play with the squad in the next Spring Split.

Earlier this month, Martínez left Fnatic, where he had played for over three years, to create Origen. The team will likely play in the European Challenger Series, with hopes of qualifying for the League Championship Series next split. Boyer has played alongside Martínez on Fnatic since June 2012.

Former Team SoloMid jungler Maurice “Amazing” Stückenschneider, former Lemondogs support Alfonso “Mithy” Rodriguez and former SK Gaming Prime AD,  Jesper “Niels” Svenningsen officially joined the team earlier this month.

Little else is known about the new team. Last week, Martínez promised more announcements “in the coming days,” on the team’s Facebook page.
