Let’s first congratulate Snake for coming out victorious 2-0, grabbing a full three points for each game. Next to me is a player who played extremely well today – mid-laner Baka~ Hi Baka.
Baka: Hi.
Since we all really care about you, outside of interviewing you, we want to know about your injury. Before this, you were filming a segment and you hurt your arm, right?
Baka: Yes, I fell and hurt myself.
It must’ve affected your performance last week.
Baka: To be honest, it’s still affecting me a little this week. My arm has been feeling really sore.
Does it affect you when you play?
Baka: I guess the pain keeps me clear-headed.
Really? So are you saying the injury makes you concentrate more during your matches?
Baka: That’s a possibility..
You have a really great mentality about these things but from what we’ve seen from your current state, it looks like it hasn’t affected your performance at all during your matches.
Baka: I think it’s because within my team, I chose Xerath. My teammates helped me find opportunities to output damage and I just have to press a few buttons and I’m good.
It’s your left arm, right?
Baka: Yes, so it’s not terribly distracting.
It seemed like the first game you played today wasn’t necessarily good for your teammates’ state of mind. Did you feel like these two games went smoothly?
Baka: We had a calm and level mindset about it so it was okay.
We know last week your ADC got a pentakill and he almost got a second one following that! As a mid-laner, your damage output is also incredibly important. In terms of the distribution of kills and considering your role as a mid-laner, do you sometimes feel like it’s unfair?
Baka: Wait.. in terms of what?
Like, in terms of your matches. Since your ADC was on fire.
Baka: Not at all – if my teammate is playing well, I’m pretty happy. If he’s playing well, I can play more relaxed then!
I suppose in that aspect, you can play happily.
Baka: Yes~
You were able to get a full three points for each game today. Tomorrow, you still have to face VG, right?
Baka: Yep.
You’ll try to stay level-headed and calm to face them right?
Baka: We’re a relatively new team so we treat every game as a way to gain new experience.
Ah, you’re so modest. To be honest, I still feel like the current state of your team is really good right now. I hope that you can bring us more surprises with your upcoming matches~ Thank you for accepting my interview!
