The results are very predictable except maybe the gap between EU and NA and the Lack of gap between NA and the LMS. Despite China constantly getting the bad end of the stick (Only two teams sent to Season 3 WC) in international majors they’ve done extremely well. Now probably more importantly you want to now how the coefficient is calculated so see below:

Point breakdown
World Championship needs to carry more weight than say MSI this is done not only by point differences but also buy the number of teams invited to the tournament effects the coefficient eg 16 at WC to 5 at MSI.

Disclaimer: Very hard to calculate because the wide range of good and horrifically bad tournament formats and how each major region isn’t given equal invites and seeding to the major tournaments. All information provided by http://lol.esportspedia.com/wiki/League_of_Legends_Wiki

Hopefully in the future more tournaments and better tournament format will lead to more accurate coefficients. I plan to maybe make a team power ranking that mathematically takes into account  the strength of the region they are playing in using these coefficients.
