After listening to your feedback I decided to improve my League of legends region ranking using a similar coefficient ranking to:
http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/country/
A ranking of countries performance by clubs in major European tournaments. I did this mainly for discussion purposes and a bit of bragging rights, I plan to maybe make a team power ranking that mathematically takes into account  the strength of the region they are playing in using these coefficients.

Best Regions at League of Legends

The results are very predictable and coincide with what the majority of analyst and experts would believe world standing to be. The Results are calculated using the 6 Major tournaments since the start of the region lock in the beginning of season 3 in 2013.
Tournaments before 2013 weren’t included because they where either too long ago, had a ridiculous tournament format and had a very lopsided number of teams from each region making them cause to many inaccurate results. Other tournaments since 2013 that weren’t include was for similar reason or they were just too small to consider.

The breakdown of the points awarded at each tournament:

Coefficient Points per Tournament

Hopefully in the future more tournaments and better tournament format will lead to more accurate coefficients.
Now probably more importantly you want to now how the coefficient is calculated so see below:

Point breakdown:

-MSI: 2015
Final win: 5
Semi win: 5
Semi Qualification: 3
Group stage win: 1
-IEM: 2015
Final win: 5
Semi-final win: 5
Group stage win: 2
(Only bottom tier Chinese teams invited)
-WC: 2014
Final win: 5
Semi-final win: 5
Quarter-final win: 5
Quarter-final Qualification: 2
Group stage win: 1
-Allstar Paris: 2014
Final win: 5
Semi win: 5
Semi Qualification: 3
Group stage win: 1
-IEM: 2014
Final win: 5
Semi-final win: 5
Group stage win: 2
(Only 1 Korean and North American team invited, middle tier Chinese teams invited)
-WC: 2013
Final win: 5
Semi-final win: 5
Quarter-final win: 5
Quarter-Qualification: 2
Group stage win: 1
(teams auto-qualified to Quarters-Najin, C9, Bears, Royal where awarded 2 group points as consolation for not being able to compete in groups)
(Only 2 Chinese teams Invited!!!, Europe had no auto-qualification)

Disclaimer: Very hard to calculate because the wide range of good and horrifically bad tournament formats and how each major region isn’t given equal invites and seeding to the major tournaments along with the best teams from each region not always being the ones invited.
