The organization removed the players who helped it qualify for the Challenger Series: Ryan “Big Ol Ron” Ballard, Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett, Michael “Wolfe” Taylor, Cody “Massacre” Sun, and Paul “Indivisible” Nguyen.

In their place arrive a new set of players, coming from a mixture of several other Challenger teams, Frank Fang Gaming, Odyssey, and MAelstrom (Imagine’s parent organization.) The team has recruited Odyssey top laner Joshua “Chunkyfresh” Kesrawani, Frank Fang jungler Galen “Moon” Holgate, MAelstrom mid laner Zachary “Mancloud” Allan Hoscher, former Odyssey marksman Ritchie “Intense” Nguyen, and Frank Fang support Terry “Baby” Chuong. The team has also added former Frank Fang Gaming manager Frank “Soloside” Fang and MAelstrom’s manager Ana “ana” Xjor to its support staff.

Former team jungler Hartnett took to Twitter to explain a bit more of the situation, asking the community not to hold anything against the new players.

The original Imagine squad was formed off the remnants of Team SoloMid Darkness after it was dropped by the SoloMid organization after a scrimmage recording leaking scandal. The team suited up for the North American Challenger Series Summer qualifiers and were acquired by MAelstrom on May 26.

The team currently holds a 2-3 record in the Challenger Series. Its next match with its new members is tonight at 9pm ET as it takes on Renegades once again. The match will be broadcasted on Riot Games Twitch channel.
