After a disappointing finish in the playoffs, Counter Logic Gaming is once again looking to make roster changes. The benching of jungler Jake “Xmithie” Puchero is imminent due to the player’s lack of performance this split, multiple sources close to the organization tell the Daily Dot. The team has reportedly extended an offer to former MeetYourMakers mid laner Marcin “Kori” Wolski, who is interested in taking it, sources say.

A swap to the jungle position may seem like a surprise for the 18-year-old Kori who showed promise as mid laner in two League Championship Series (LCS) seasons as a member of Supa Hot Crew and MeetYourMakers. But Kori has has been actively training jungle in solo queue on the Europe West server in preparation for his move to the new role. For Counter Logic Gaming the role swap is hardly new territory, as they have made similar swaps with other players in the past.

Counter Logic Gaming isn’t the first team to show interest in Kori. The Polish player originally planned to go to North American team Gravity Gaming, but the deal with the organization fell through in part because team coach Nick “LS” De Cesare is most likely parting ways with the organization. The coach worked with Kori in the Summer last year on Supa Hot Crew, and even imported Kori to North America at the start of this year when he faced trouble within in the MeetYourMakers organization.

The player is still under contract with MeetYourMakers until Nov. 2015, but the team is willing to facilitate a transfer to a new organization after their relegation from the LCS.

“MYM have been really fortunate to play in the LCS this year. We have been proud to support some of the most exciting up and coming talent,” MeetYourMakers CEO Khaled Naim told Daily Dot. “Kori has always had a leading role in the team and we will do our best to help him with his next steps.”

Counter Logic Gaming hopes Kori will be the answer to a revolving door at the jungle position. This past off-season the team replaced former jungler Marcel “Dexter” Feldkamp with American veteran Xmithie, but despite a solid regular season the team faltered in the playoffs, finishing in the top six alongside Gravity Gaming.

Counter Logic Gaming was contacted for confirmation, but has yet to comment on the potential move.
