What does the Workbench do in TCG Card Shop Simulator?

Get rid of your bulk cards.

If you’ve been opening many packs in TCG Carp Shop Simulator and have thousands of cards lying around and nothing to do with them, the Workbench might become your new best friend.

The Workbench is a great item you can buy for your store. It takes all the extra worthless cards you opened during packs and bundles them together to sell to your customers. Not only does it use cards you’ll never sell individually, but it also creates a new revenue stream. But how does it all work?

You can buy a Workbench in TCG Card Shop Simulator for $1,000 from the DIY menu on your phone. When you do, you can place it anywhere in your store. We like to put it in Shop Lot B ourselves out of the way so there is plenty of space in the main shop for selling additional goods.

The game will instruct you on how to choose an expansion set and a rarity type when approaching and interacting with the Workbench. Choose any expansion set you have been opening many packs, and make sure you click common rarity or one of the lower rarities. If you keep with the basic any rarity option, the game will take some of your most expensive cards and can even put your $10,000 Ghost Rares into the set if you aren’t careful.

As long as you have 100 free cards, the Workshop puts 100 random rarity cards into a white box, which you can place on your shelves and sell to customers for a profit. Considering most of the cards cost less than 10 cents, it’s a great way to get rid of many of the cards you’ve been holding onto and make a bit of money back for your time.

If you don’t have 100 free cards of one of the eight sets, you can’t use the Workbench. Instead, you’ll have to wait until you have spare cards to make another bulk lot. Making the most out of the Workbench is by no means a big money-making project, but it’s still worth doing if you have been sitting there opening packs all day and have nothing better to do.

If you want to make multiple packs but don’t want to wait around to open them slowly, you might want to look into mods that help you open packs faster. The process of opening packs is sluggish and slow, and we hope the developers offer a way to skip the opening pack animations in the future to make the process much more enjoyable, especially for those trying to open thousands of packs for the in-game achievements.
