The playoff bracket featured four players:Xixo, DrHippi,Naiman and XieShuai, thus thechances of west triumphing again were better. Nevertheless,XieShuai managed to make his way up to the grand finals via thewinner’s bracket by first defeating Naiman with a 4-2 win andthen Xixo with a close 4-3 series victory. Xixo was dropped in theloser’s bracket, where he faced DrHippi and defeated him witha 4-1 win, just as he did in the first round of the playoffs, making it back to the grand finals.

The score so far was even between Xixo and XieShuai, with Xixohaving won 4-2 in the group stage against the Chinese, but havinglost earlier in the playoffs in that close 4-3 series. However, itwas time for revenge. The German player managed to prevail with a4-2 win, eliminating XieShuai’s hopes to take the trophy forChina once again.
