Cobalt Scalebane is the latest addition to the Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion. This five mana, 5/5 dragon has a rather unique ability—”at the end of your turn, give another random friendly minion +3 attack.”

Although this common neutral minion might leave much to be desired on an empty board, Cobalt Scalebane is at its best when you have other creatures available for it to buff. This dragon definitely seems like it would do better in late-game situations, as it could become a persistent nuisance to your opponent if it can stay alive and continually buff your other minions.

It’ll definitely be interesting to see how Cobalt Scalebane fits into the Hearthstone meta once the Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion is released.
