Hunter gets a legendary Dragon in The Witchwood

Does Hunter need a late-game card like this?

The legendary cards are coming thick and fast today from The Witchwood.

Blizzard gave the latest card reveal to Eurogamer, and it’s another massive legendary minion from Hearthstone‘s next expansion.

You know the old saying—the only things certain in life are death, taxes, and cards that make people ask if Control Hunter can ever be viable.

This card appears to be the latest attempt to give Hunter a viable late-game focused deck. It’s a ten mana 8/8 with a very powerful effect—it doubles the stats of every minion in your hand when it’s played. So in theory, you could generate a lot of crazy Zombeasts from Deathstalker Rexxar and then turn them into monsters.

Except that’s going to be pretty hard to do in theory. How are you staying alive until then? It also attempts to take the class away from Spell Hunter, which has only just got going.
