How to watch DrDisrespect’s Code Red Apex Legends tournament

The fourth installment of Code Red Apex Legends hosted by Guy “DrDisrespect” Beahm and Esports Arena is set to take place today at 3pm CT.

NRG Esports, featuring Coby “Dizzy” Meadows, Richard “KingRichard” Nelson, and Brandon “Ace” Winn, has been on a three-tournament win streak, and go into today’s Code Red as the favorites. VissRespect the Kraft and Team Liquid, however, will be looking for the upset win.

The full list of teams and brackets are yet to be released, however, we will update this article once we have further information.

Format

The tournament features eight teams of three in a double elimination best-of-one format, for a prize pool of $25,000.

Teams will face will off against each other and aim to secure the most points after three games. A player will be awarded one point per kill and eight points per victory. In the case of a tie, a fourth game will be played.

The team that advances to the grand finals from the winner’s bracket will receive a 1-0 match lead, in a best-of-three format.

Schedule

Code Red Apex Legends takes place today, Thursday, May 23, at 3pm CT. It’s anticipated to end six hours later, at 9pm.

Stream

Each participant is required to livestream their perspective of the tournament. Fans can choose to watch on any of the player’s Twitch streams, or alternatively the Esports Arena channel.
