How to get the Fallen Stars armor set in God of War Ragnarok

God of War Ragnarok has several great armor sets that sport several unique traits. Many of them can be acquired in different, unique ways, and this is especially true for the Fallen Stars armor set.

Here’s how you acquire the Fallen Stars armor in God of War Ragnarok.

How to get the Fallen Stars armor set in God of War Ragnarok

Getting the Fallen Stars armor set can be confusing, but it isn’t hard to do, as it requires only two steps. The first step is to acquire Crystalline Fragments, and the second is to find the Wishing Well. 

The Crystalline Fragments can be found in The Crater region of Vanaheim. You can unlock the Crater after getting the “Scent of Survival” quest. The fragments are littered in several areas in this location. They’re hard to miss as they are large orange glowing crystal shards that can be seen next to large rocks and plants on the floor and at the side of rocky hills. You’ll need to use the explosive function of Kratos’s Draupnir Spear to burst the shards open and extract the Crystalline Fragments. However, only the large crystal shards hold the Crystalline Fragments. It’s best to collect at least three of these fragments, if not as many as you can, as you need multiple fragments to get all the pieces of armor.

Luckily, after acquiring the fragments, you don’t have to do much else besides locating the Wishing Well, which is in the same area as the fragments you were collecting, in the middle of the Crater. You’ll first need to clear the area of crystal deposits to access the well. 

Once you find the well, Atreus and Mimir suggest throwing the Crystalline Fragments into the Wishing Well. You need to throw multiple fragments into the well to get all pieces of the Fallen Stars Armor set, including the Plackart of Fallen Stars Chest Armor, the Bracers of Fallen Stars Wrist Armor, and the Waist Guard of the Fallen Stars Waist Armor. 

Throwing multiple fragments also gets you Gleaming, Shining, and Sparkling Crystals, which are special crafting materials used for upgrading weapons, shields, and armor to their highest level. The well also gives you the Runic Hailstone Knob axe attachment, the Pommels of Burning Unity blades attachment, the Rond of Fortification shield attachment, and thousands of Hacksilver.
