Haitani, originally of Youdeal, is a well-known Street Fighter V player who finished fourth overall at the 2016 Capcom Cup, after finishing in 14th place overall on the leaderboard to guarantee himself a spot in the tournament.

Haitani is a consistent player, ranking in the top-eight in most of the tournaments he took part in over the past year. He will be setting his sights on the 2017 Capcom Cup Title, with EVO 2017 set to be the first event this year where players can gain points, after Capcom revealed new changes to how the competition will be played overall.

This news means Haitani will meet up with Joe “MOV” Egami, a fifth place finisher at the Capcom Cup, on the team as well.
