Eight hour maintenance planned for SFV tomorrow

SFV players will need to find a new game to play for a bit on March 7.

For those looking to become the best warrior in the world, Capcom might have other plans for you. A huge eight-hour maintenance period has been announced via the game itself, and is scheduled for tomorrow, March 7.

The maintenance will disable all online features; so the base game will still be available to play, just not against others online. Capcom also said that these hours are subject to change, meaning there could be more or less hours of maintenance added on depending on how it goes.

There is no word on what the maintenance is for at the current time of writing, but the most likely scenario is work on the servers, targeting consistency to reduce lag and improve the servers overall.
