With just one day left of Dota 2‘s Frankfurt Major only three teams remain in the tournament, vying for the majority of the $3 million prizepool.
Team Secret, Evil Geniuses and OG have outlasted 13 other teams to book their spot in Saturday’s final day of play.
Team Secret defeated The International 2015 winners Evil Geniuses in Friday’s winner’s bracket final, taking them within one series of the title and the $1.11 million first prize. Evil Geniuses dropped down to the lower bracket where they will face European newcomers OG.
OG (formerly known as Monkey Business) are competing in their first major event since being by streaming site Hitbox. They are the only qualified team to make it to the top eight of the Frankfurt Major.
With two international teams and one from North America, China is conspicuous by its absence. The country’s last representatives, EHOME, lost 2-1 to OG earlier today.
Evil Geniuses will be looking to repeat their achievement en route to the International championship earlier this year—losing to CDEC in the winner’s bracket final, only to come back and defeat them in the grand final.
Evil Geniuses and OG will meet tomorrow morning, with the winner going on to face Team Secret in the best-of-five grand final.
