In the post announcing the Summer Skirmish series, Epic said that the participants were made up of community creators and players who have “demonstrated their competitive prowess.” Epic also said the competing players or teams may change from week to week.

The fifth week of the series will feature over 90 duos, including some of the world’s most talented individuals. The full list of competitors can be found on the Summer Skirmish website.

Epic said that the format of the events will change frequently, but one could expect a few tournaments in each of the major modes: Solo, Duos, and Squads.

Week five will feature a new scoring format called King Pin. Each elimination will be worth one point. A Victory Royale will grant that duo a three-times elimination bonus in their next match, while duos can earn a two-times elimination bonus in their next match for getting seven or more kills in a game. The duo with the most points after eight matches will win the tournament.
