Here’s where to shoot clay pigeons in Fortnite: Battle Royale

Skeet shooting can be fun!
This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

One of the challenges for week three of Fortnite’s fifth season tasks you with shooting a clay pigeon at different locations. Clay pigeons? What are those? Why do they deserve to die? Why not a glass, or a steel pigeon? Do clay pigeons have souls? Do… regular pigeons have souls?

Clay pigeons are actually the name of the projectiles fired out of skeet shooting machines. This week’s 5.1 update added a number of the machines around the map, and it’s now your job to find them and enjoy some leisurely skeet shooting for a challenge.

There are at least six locations to find skeet shooting machines around the map. Once you do, interact with them and they will shoot out a clay pigeon. At this point, it’s your turn to shoot the clay pigeon out of the sky. Do this five times and you will earn yourself some Battle Stars.

There are machines north of Lonely Lodge, east of the river to the east of Lazy Links, the northeast shore of Loot Lake, south of Haunted Hills, northwest of Flush Factory, and south of Paradise Palms.

Due to the scattered locations of the machines, it will likely take multiple games to accomplish this feat. But with this map showing the locations of the machines, it should ease some of the stress of finding where they are. Just pick one to begin with, land there, and fire away.

There are at least six locations, and you need to go to five of them for the challenge, so take your pick of which one you do not desire to visit and hit up the rest for your Battle Pass upgrades.
