This Counter-Strike trick shot is unbelievable
Looking for a new trick shot to attempt in Counter-Strike? How about one that involves launching a rifle across the map with an explosion?
That’s exactly what YouTuber Galore S00K managed to do in the clip below, which involves a pair of counter-terrorists exchanging an AWP through the use of an explosive grenade launch. It has to be seen to be believed.
Explosions in Counter-Strike carry quite a bit of force behind them, whether they emanate from planted bombs or thrown grenades. These explosions are capable of launching dropped weapons long distances. Here, the force of an exploding grenade is used to send a dropped AWP all the way from near the long A pit to the ramp leading into the bombsite on the iconic Dust2 map.
AWP in hand, the launching player’s teammate is able to efficiently dispose of a terrorist peeking out from catwalk, clearing the way for him to defuse the bomb and secure the round.
Impressive a feat as it is, many have questioned the legitimacy of the clip, calling it staged or fake. The creator has thus far steadfastly defended its authenticity. But really, does it matter? Whether the clip is the result of an elaborate plan in coordination with the opposing team or the result of some fine ingenuity in the moment, it still makes for an impressive display.
The YouTuber has promised more where this came from, but it’ll be hard to top this unique and over-the-top play.
