Pool Play Predictions
Similar to UMG Orlando, Pool Play at this event will award the top two teams from each group by placing them into the Winner’s Championship bracket. The bottom three teams from each group will be placed into the Loser’s Championship bracket. For more information on Pool Play and Bracket Play, check out our Event Preview.
Group A: OpTic Gaming, Automatic Reload, Rise Nation, VexX Gaming
- 1st: OpTic Gaming
- 2nd: Rise Nation
- 3rd: Automatic Reload
- 4th: VexX Gaming

OpTic Gaming are arguably the world’s best team right now, and will be looking to seal out this pool undefeated. Note that OpTic in the past have struggled on day one, especially in Pool Play. This will also be OpTic Gaming’s first event with 2013 and 2014 World Champion, Damon “ Karma” Barlow.
Group B: Team KaLiBeR, Team JusTus, Team eLevate, 3sUp Enterprises
- 1st: Team eLevate
- 2nd: Team KaLiBeR
- 3rd: Team JusTus
- 4th: 3sUp Enterprises

Team eLevate has had tremendous success online, within the MLG Pro League Season 2. The question is though, will they be able to convert over to LAN just as well? Team eLevate will be having the Call of Duty World Champion, Chris “ Replays” Crowder, substitute in for Josiah “ Slacked” Berry at UMG Cali. With this addition, it is quite possible that we’ll be seeing Team eLevate take this league after Team KaLiBeR’s poor performance at the Gfinity Spring Masters I.
Group C: FaZe Clan, Prophecy, DA.Below Zero, vVv Gaming
- 1st: Prophecy
- 2nd: FaZe Clan
- 3rd: vVv Gaming
- 4th: DA.Below Zero

Prophecy are arguably one of the best teams at this event, keeping a close, 3-2 series in the Grand Finals against OpTic Gaming at the Gfinity Spring Masters I. Unfortunately, they placed second at that event, but we’ll be looking to see them dominate this pool with no contest.
Group D: Team EnVy, OpTic Nation, Team Orbit, iSolation Empire
- 1st: OpTic Nation
- 2nd: Team EnVy
- 3rd: Team Orbit
- 4th: iSolation Empire
- 5th: N/A
OpTic Nation has recently been performing quite well, having placed third/fourth at the Gfinity Spring Masters I. We’ll be looking to see OpTic Nation take this pool, above a struggling Team EnVy. Note that EnVy will be having Renato “ Saints” Forza at this event though.
