The best SWAT 5.56 loadout and class setup in Black Ops 6

Call of Duty has a long history of great burst rifles.

There are two types of assault rifle players in Call of Duty: Those who like the ability to spray an enemy down with full auto, and those who enjoy the precision of a burst rifle.

If you’re part of the latter, then the SWAT 5.56 is the weapon for you in Black Ops 6. This three-round burst rifle is a powerful gun in BO6, much stronger than its previous iteration all the way back in 2012 in Black Ops 2. This is one you should level up for some easy, quick kills with.

Here’s our pick for the best build to use on the SWAT 556 in BO6 multiplayer.

As things currently stand, the SWAT 556 has the potential to one-burst enemies at mid-range if you hit them in the upper chest and head. That’s one of your best chances at countering the movement meta as players flip, flop, slide, and dive all around you: Just shoot them with a quick burst.

Best SWAT 5.56 build in BO6

  • Muzzle: Muzzle Brake
  • Barrel: Gain-Twist Barrel
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

Rapid Fire is a must-have on the SWAT as the gun fires too slowly without it. It’s the game-changing attachment that allows you to follow up your first burst with a second to finish an enemy off if your shots were off-line initially.

This set of attachments will buff up the SWAT on all four measurable statistics: Firepower, Accuracy, Mobility, and Handling, allowing you to maintain the burst-fire dream in a game that’s dominated by movement and fast-firing SMGs.

I think you could potentially get away with removing the Quickdraw Grip for an Optic if you’re not a fan of the SWAT’s iron sights (I don’t love them either), but you’ll lose out on some handling and quickness in the process.

Best SWAT 5.56 class setup in BO6

Equipment

  • Pistol: GS45
  • Melee: Knife
  • Tactical: Concussion
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Field Upgrade: Trophy System

Perks and class setup

  • Perk one: Flak Jacket
  • Perk two: Dispatcher
  • Perk three: Guardian
  • Perk four: Gung-Ho
  • Wildcard: Perk Greed
  • Specialty: Strategist

I’m personally a big fan of the Strategist Specialty in BO6 as it suits my playstyle when it comes to providing air support intel and destroying enemy equipment to give my team an advantage.

  • Strategist: “Earn a score bonus for objectives and destroying enemy content, see enemy content through walls a short distance, deploy equipment and Field Upgrades faster.”

Equip scorestreaks like the UAV and Counter UAV to keep your team in the know, spot enemies from afar, and call out equipment like Trophy Systems through the wall. You could be the best teammate anyone never knew they needed in a public match.
