While a new specialist made its way into Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 just last week, a new weapon is apparently not too far away either.

A weapon by the name of “S6 Stingray” has been discovered by several Reddit users through the Call of Duty mobile app. The weapon, which was categorized with the tactical rifles, would appear to be one of the next weapons added to the game.

Fans found the S6 Stingray by going to their combat records in the app, and checking their personal stats with certain weapons. While the other weapon types were no different than what appears in-game, the tactical rifles had the Stingray listed.

Some CoD fans have theorized the new weapon will be added during the annual Days of Summer event, which usually begins sometime in June or July. The S6 Stingray would be the fourth tactical rifle in Black Ops 4, joining the ABR 223, Swordfish, and Auger DMR.

During last year’s Days of Summer event, Sledgehammer Games added a sandbox mode, as well as three new weapons and numerous cosmetics. It would not be a surprise if the S6 Stingray was just one of many additions to the game for the event.
