Another European roster has found a home with an organization making its return to Call of Duty.

After being out of the scene for nearly nine months, Renegades has signed the roster of Jordan “Reedy” Reed, Josh Watson, Gurdip “SunnyB” Bains, and Jake Dalton, the organization announced earlier today.

Jake hasn’t competed since 2015. Similar to many other players, the 22-year-old retired during Advanced Warfare. He’s best known for his time with Team Infused, where he took first place at both EGL 10 and EGL 11 in Black Ops II.

Reedy and Watson played together for the entirety of Infinite Warfare on Elevate. The duo competed in both Stage One and Stage Two of the Call of Duty World League Global Pro League, where they finished outside of the top eight each time. The team also played at the $1.5 million CWL Championship in August, finishing top 24 after a controversial end to their tournament.

And after spending nearly the entire IW season with Fnatic, SunnyB was released along with his other teammates in September after a disappointing top 16 placing at CoD Champs 2017.

Renegades’ experience in Call of Duty hasn’t been great. The first tournament for the organization was the 2016 CWL Championship, but the team finished tied for last. And in IW, its team failed to secure any tournament winnings at every event they played in—online or offline—until the organization pulled the plug after a top 28 placing at the CWL Paris Open in February.

This new Renegades roster does have some chemistry, despite Jake being away for two-and-a-half years. Reedy and Jake played together for Infused in AW before Jake’s retirement in April 2015. Jake placed top six alongside Reedy at his last tournament, the Gfinity London Open.

But Jake, like other returning players, will need to adjust to the new players and playstyles that have come up while he was away. But he isn’t the only one with something to prove on this team. Reedy and Watson most likely have a rather sour feeling about how their last year went, and SunnyB was always looked at as the weak link on Fnatic. There’s no better time to start over and recreate their images than with the launch of WWII, which will be released on Nov. 3.
