Gfinity Call of Duty Open

Gfinity have announced their first ever open LAN event for Call of Duty.

Gfinity has been a force in Europe, hosting some of the most prestigious invitational events that Call of Duty and other major eSports titles have ever seen. Today though, they have announced the details of their first ever open event.

The Gfinity Call of Duty Open will take place from April 4-5 featuring sixty-four teams fighting for a split of£5,000, roughly $7,600 USD. This event is unlike any other, in that it begins at one location and finishes at another. Saturday’s gameplay venue will be at the ILEC Conference Centre in Earls Court, London. While on Sunday the Gfinity Arena will play host to the final rounds of the tournament.

The prize pool breakdown for the event goes as follows:

  • 1st – £3,000 ($4568.52)
  • 2nd – £1,000 ($1522.84)
  • 3rd – £500 ($761.42)
  • 4th – £500 ($761.42)

Due to PEGI ratings for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, all players and spectators must be over 18 years of age to compete at the Gfinity Open.
