Call of Duty World League: Stage 2 Week 8 Power Rankings

GAMURS's Week 8 edition of the power rankings for the second season of the North American Call of Duty World League.
Weekend Editor
preview

Despite some connection issues, another week in the Call of Duty World League for Call of Duty®: Black Ops III is in the books, which means that it is time for an updated edition of GAMURS’s power rankings for the North American teams participating in this league.

Just as a reminder, the point system for these power rankings will be calculated based on the rankings submitted by any of the GAMURS staff members. These staff members were asked to rank the 12 teams in order from best to worst, with No. 1 being the best and No. 12 being the worst. Points will be rewarded to mirror a team’s ranking; for example, the first place team will receive 12 points, while the twelfth place team will receive one point.

After every week of action, we will be releasing another power rankings article where the teams will either move up or down based on how they perform in their matches, so don’t forget to check back here each week for the latest power rankings.

Without further ado, here are your power rankings for this week.

4. FaZe Clan (47 total points)

Dropping down one spot in our power rankings is FaZe Clan, who went 1-1 in Week 7. FaZe began the week with a shocking 3-2 loss to Cloud9, but they responded with a strong 3-0 win over Luminosity Gaming. 5. Dream Team (34 total points)

Dream Team moved up one spot in our power rankings, even though they went 0-1 in Week 7. dT lost 3-1 to C9, bringing their record to 6-5 on the season. With so many teams extremely close to one another in the standings, dT will look to keep fighting their way to the top when they face off against Luminosity and FaZe in Week 8.

6. Team eLevate (32 total points)

Despite a 0-1 performance in Week 7, Team eLevate has moved up one spot in our power rankings. eLv now has a record of 6-5 following their 3-0 loss to Rise. In Week 8, eLv will look to get back on track when they take on H2k and coL.

A 3-0 loss to FaZe means that Luminosity Gaming went 0-1 in Week 7 and have dropped down two spots in our power rankings. In Week 8, Luminosity will strive to get their 4-7 record closer to the .500 mark when they take on dT and Hundred Thieves.

11. Hundred Thieves (11 total points)

Finally, Team SoloMid is still in last place of our power rankings despite going 1-0 in Week 7, taking down 100T 3-1 and improving their record to 2-9. In Week 8, TSM will try to break out of their tie for the last place when they go up against Rise and EnVyUs.
