Astro Bot – All Bot of War raven locations

Quoth the raven, boy.

Eight ravens are situated around Astro Bot‘s incredible Bot of War level, and if you’re here, you already know they can peck your brain with their ability to hide. Thankfully, they haven’t been able to shy away from us, as we know every raven location.

Anchorman‘s Ron Burgundy once famously referenced “Great Odin’s Raven;” unfortunately, Astro Bot includes eight of them to find. As Astro, you figuratively don the shoes of Kratos—à la God of War and Ragnarok—by wielding the mighty god’s dominant axe in Bot of War.

Your main goal is to find and rescue VIP Bots, obtain Puzzle Pieces, and reach the end of the level. If you want to complete the Astro Bot trophy list and add the platinum trophy to your collection, finding and taking down all ravens is necessary for the “Eyes Of The All-Father” trophy.

This is the order I found all eight ravens in the Bot of War level in Astro Bot—but this doesn’t represent the official order. It doesn’t matter if you’re starting from scratch or using this guide to clean up the final one or two ravens; look out for the raven pictures and read the descriptions to get your bearings.

Like many Astro Bot levels, one of the first collectibles requires you to grab it before you land. Our custom Dot Esports marker above shows you where the first raven spot is. If you fail to grab it with your ship, hit “Options” and restart the level to have another go.

By now, you should have interacted with Kratos and Atreus—meaning you have the Leviathan Axe. For my second raven, I entered the newly opened doors and climbed up the obstacles on the left. If you climb to the top and get to the vantage point shown in the picture above, you can target the raven and destroy it.

The third raven requires you to reach the checkpoint bridge—the one requiring you to use the axe to hit a switch and trigger a tightrope bridge. Once you’re on the other side, go to your right and jump over to a giant turtle. Just above the turtle is a stone pillar structure, and the raven is perched on a ledge in the middle of it.

Again, instead of going in the intended direction to progress through the level (marked with more checkpoints), carry on going to the left, and it’s quite hard to miss the fourth raven out in the open on a ledge, waiting to be smashed to pieces.

From the fourth raven, carry on moving forward, and you should see some wires you can pull in front of an ice-cold pond. Blow into your controller (as instructed by Astro Bot) and wait for the giant snake—presumably Jörmungandr—to appear. Climb up Jörmungandr, turn around, and you can see the next raven tucked away high up on an icy cliff.

Use the jump pad to get back to the other side and go up the small step toward the next main area. Here, you find an enemy throwing its head at you and a checkpoint. Don’t go forward, instead, turn around, and you should see a black raven sitting on top of an ice block. Destroy the ice block, bounce on the pad, throwing the axe in the process to break the wall, and advance through the remaining partitions. This takes you to the complete raven tree itself, and if you get close enough, the sixth raven swoops down for you to destroy—and allows you to claim the Mímir Bot.

Go back to the area with the enemy that throws its head. Take a quick glance to the left of the checkpoint and you should swiftly spot the next raven to meet the might of your Leviathan Axe.

The eighth and final raven is a sneaky one, and chances are it will give you the most trouble. To find it, progress through the level and use the giant log to break the large structure. Make another impromptu bridge with the axe and cross to the other side. However, don’t go on the jump pad. You need to walk around the other side of it, and as shown in our image above, the bird is secretly hidden behind the fallen-over object.

That’s not all for Bot of War though, you need to find Thor to complete the “freeze a hammer-wielding deity with the axe” in Astro Bot.
