Float like a butterfly, sting like a Wingman.

In the eyes of Twitch streamer Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek, the best weapons in Apex Legends are the light ones that allow you to be quick and agile.

As featured in Shroud’s YouTube video, “MY OPINION ON APEX LEGENDS,” the talented battle royale player thinks heavy weapons like the Spitfire can be good as long as you aren’t caught in a firefight.

“Spitfire’s good, you just move so slow,” Shroud said. “But you go up against anyone that’s half decent, that Spitfire is terrible because you literally have to stand still.”

Weapons like the Wingman revolver and R-99 submachine gun are the best options, according to Shroud, because “the best weapons are the weapons that are the most mobile.”

“There’s no side strafes, you can’t side strafe with the Spitfire,” Shroud said. “You’re just a f***ing sitting duck. You just die.”

With Shroud being one of the most popular Apex streamers on the platform who racks up win after win every stream, it’s safe to say he probably knows what he’s talking about.
