Players should get ready to “cry havoc” because a new gun will be gracing King’s Canyon tomorrow, Feb. 20, according to a tweet sent out by the official Apex Legends Twitter account.

Many players believe this could be teasing the Havoc Rifle from the Titanfall series. If this is true, then players can expect to see an energy assault rifle join the game tomorrow. This gun has a similar feel to most rail-guns that you see in a first-person shooter, but its energy ammunition gives it a unique flare.

It’s also worth noting that many players have claimed Banglore mentions the Havoc Rifle when you ping certain things in-game. Players on Reddit reported hearing Bangalore say “If you have a Havoc or a Prowler” when pinging the select-fire hop-up. If this is true, then the weapon we’re seeing tomorrow is almost certainly the Havoc Rifle.

Twitter was quick to react to the news with many prominent battle royale players sending out praise. Famous FPS streamer Timothy “Timthetatman” Beta sent out a simple yet effective tweet that echoes the sentiments of most of the community, saying, “WOOOO!”
