Players on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC will be able to try out Overwatch for free. All 26 heroes and 16 maps will be playable during the free weekend. Quick Play, Custom Games, and the Arcade will all be open, but free players will not be able to access Overwatch’s Competitive Play.

If you choose to purchase Overwatch after or during the free weekend, you’ll keep any progress and loot collected—as long as you use the same Blizzard, Sony, or Xbox Live account that you originally played on.

The free weekend will begin Nov. 17 at 11am PT and end on Nov. 20 at 11:59pm PT across all regions. Blizzard has converted the times for all time zones on its website.

It’s unclear if new Overwatch hero Moira, who’s available on the PTR, will be playable during the free weekend, though it seems likely, as Blizzard noted all hero heroes will be playable. The same goes for the newly announced Overwatch map called Blizzard World—which isn’t publicly available right now, anyway. Blizzard hasn’t announced a timeline for their release on the live Overwatch server.
